FRONT CRP CUTTERS

This model is designed for Bi-directional tractors, S.P. swather tractors, or tractors with a front 3 pt. hitch. When cutting CRP, conditions are usually very uneven. For this reason, this model has features that are optional to overcome some of the obstacles on rough terrain.

The 30 ft. model with CASTOR WHEELS has a ground clearance from 4 inches to 13 inches with the wheels on the ground.
The 30 ft. model with HYDRAULIC WHEELS has a ground clearance from 4 inches to 24 inches with the wheels on the ground (hydraulic wheels do not castor).
The wheels and cutting bar can all be adjusted from the driver seat, which makes cutting cleaner and more stable during operation.
The sickle drive, which is hydraulic, has an instant reverse system built into it to clear a choked sickle. Down time is very little and production time is IMPORTANT!
This unit can be from 15 to 40 ft. wide, the larger units need to be transported on a header transport for relocation.
From the field to transport is fast and easy with a quick hitch, hydraulic top link, and a 3 pt. hitch.

Center dividers are optional on units with support bars in the center. Center dividers are optional but are necessary to keep material from building up on the center supports on the wider models, especially on tall vegetation or tangled crops.

During the testing of this Unit in 1999 & 2000 on approximately 5000 acres of CRP, we found it to perform very efficiently with very little down time and very low maintenance cost.
