Same as type one, except cut end off in a 45 degree angle, instead of the 90 degree tail. Also attaches to back of shank. Fits both cultivators and chisel plows.

This drop is similar to type nine, but a little different also. They both are for flow hose, and bolt on back of shank. Type 9 bolts with only 1 bolt, while this one uses two, plus they can be adjusted, thus making the drop lower on the shank.

1/2" I.D. PIPE for no restriction of flow application. 45 Degree open bottom. Fits: Nichols; J816k-2 & B4316-2;McKay, Dart & Penetrator, J.D. N130182, Earthmetal 4" double end. All types except 2" spikes.

1/4" I.D. PIPE for 1/2" flow hose must be applied between shovel & shank. Fits: all types including spikes. Choice of shovel is important here to prevent shank drag. Also insulator strip may be necessary to prevent freezing of shovel.
